RamonMy son who is on his second year in High School education happily shared to us during dinner (a day after reading “My Favorite Quotation” topic) of his favorite quote;
“ Don’t talk to the driver while the bus is in Motion”.
“Don’t extend any part of your body outside the bus”.
Funny isn’t it? So I just told him, next time ride a jeepney (a mode of public transportation here in the Philippines) when going to your school.
We are a family with a very happy disposition in life. We could almost turn any situation into a funny or comedy affair. Just like when you ask for soy sauce, everybody will repeat the command until it comes back to you. Then we would all be laughing.
When my wife asks for something, the same things happen. It looks like our home is place in a mountain and you would always hear echoes.
Then another butted in,” Keep your feet off the Grass”. “Stop going to parks, will you?”
“No I.D. – No entry”, another one would add.
Can’t wait to have another Dinner with them when this topic crops up again.

Sounds familiar! Reminds me of those good old days when my kids were younger….always competing for their own voice to be
heard all the time. It seemed redundancy plays a whole lot
in or household then….both had the same answers all if they’ve
been asked who’s done this of course you’ll hear them both
answered “not me!”/”dunno nothing about!”,etc and my daughter had tend to wear out my name by calling “Mom” every second! Grrrrrrrrr, then….. just had to remind myself to be patience.
