Failed to update This site!

I have failed to update this website since my last post mainly due to my very busy schedule.

I have to accompany my incoming District Manager (DM) from visiting our Branches here in Metro-Manila. Our outgoing DM should have done this job but he must also tour his AOR come March 1, 2008. We were only able to be together, (the three of us) from February 28 and 29.

It is really a mixture of feelings from excitement to fascinating then nostalgic seeing some people whom I have work with from yester years. Some I remember some I failed, but the common welcome they gave me (after greeting us with a smile in their faces) was how I looked thinner but remained handsome (Lol!) despite the years. My sugar (Diabetes) level is the culprit. From my weight of 145 lbs 10 years ago I am now down to125 lbs.

I find one amusing part is when one personnel told me that I was the one who recommended her to our Branch in Cubao although I only knew her Uncle as a Meralco reader in Baclaran. I was only a Store Supervisor then, which was too long ago. I never thought this thing happened.

So from February 28 – up to yesterday I have accompanied my DM in going to our branches from Mandaluyong, Angono (Rizal), Antipolo (Rizal), P.Burgos (Cavite City), Muntinlupa, Sukat (Paranaque), Baclaran, Libertad, Blumentritt. The only remaining branch would be Novaliches.

Of course I enjoyed the opportunity not only because of free lunches, snacks and dinner but seeing again those places and those people that I have worked with. The only problem was when we can’t use my D.M.’s car due to “coding” and riding those MRT and FX would take you to long line of waiting passengers. And also, my tonsillitis seems not to cooperate that I have to drink hot calamansi juice or Diet Coke without Ice come eating time.

This afternoon I was able to have my medical check up and here are the tests that will be done to me tomorrow:

CBC, Urinalysis, Fbs, Hba1c, lipid profile, bun, Ecg, Sgpt and another one I failed to read.

It is now time to get serious and control my sugar level.
