Ergonomic Design Keyboard-tray

My Daughter discusses to me yesterday about her officemate’s ergonomic design keyboard tray that she is using at home. I have been hearing about this word so I tried to Google the word and here is what I found out.

Ergonomics - is the scientific discipline concerned with the understanding of interactions among humans and other elements of a system, and the profession that applies theory, principles, data and methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance. ^[1] The field is also called human engineering, and human factors engineering.(Source –Wikipedia).

While at this thought I was able to find out an interesting site about keyboard shelf.

My Daughter who is a web designer spends almost eight hours a day in front of her computer. Now I realize how important those ergonomic design are. I will surely find one for her as a birthday gift.
