maze

The other night, upon arriving home from work I casually ask my youngest daughter if she had done all her assignments or if she had one? It has been my character to ask our children each one of them if they had done their school work every time I catch them watching television at night. Yes, my youngest daughter had one left and she is waiting for my help.

After taking our dinner my wife readily gave me Ariane’s notebook to help arrive to a solution in one math problem. After analyzing the given data I arrive to a conclusion that there is one missing data. But my wife insisted that every math problem must have a solution.

Before I knew it everyone in the family is solving the problem that when I tried to ask for the notebook again it is now missing. Now you know how cooperative every member of our family is.

But anyway everyone all agreed that one data is missing for us to be able to arrive at a solution. Of course we find the notebook but not the answer.

So we just explain to Ariene what is the missing data and why?

The next day, at the dinner table my son ask Ariane what is the right answer to the Math problem? My daughter gave a wide smile and told us that there is really a missing data and that their Teacher forgot to include it in the story. Funny isn’t it?

Now I know why the “lone crusader” Mr. Antonio Calipjo Go is right after all. Now if you still don’t know Mr. Go? Kindly read here (Nuggets of Wisdom lost in translation) one featured interview of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
